SCB invites public to visit online Red Cross Fair charity event during 14 - 27 December 2021
In an effort to make one of Thailand's major charity events accessible to all, the Thai Red Cross Society's Fund-Raising Bureau will be holding the Red Cross Fair online this year. This new normal arrangement has been introduced to suit the current circumstance, with social distancing being critical to preventing the spread of COVID-19. Held as a virtual event for the second year in a row, last year's eleven-day online Red Cross Fair witnessed a total of 1,198,677 visits spanning Thailand's provinces and 95 countries around the world.
Following tradition, this year Siam Commercial Bank will participate in the online Red Cross Fair under a "Happiness Sustainnovation" concept. With technological advancement and changing lifestyles, virtual reality metaverse technology will play an increasingly important role in people's lives. The event concept has been adopted based on a belief that technology will allow people to embrace happiness in its many aspects through the constant development of innovation for sustainability.
Most importantly, SCB has made it a priority to ensure that its products and services will answer the needs of every lifestyle to create sustainable happiness. Upon entering the SCB site, visitors will find a variety of virtual booths displaying products and services, corresponding to everyone's modern lifestyles, comprising 1) Robinhood, a new alternative homegrown food delivery app; 2) Mae Manee, a social commerce app that makes commercial and business transactions more convenient. 3) SCB Protect, a range of curated online insurance products offering protection meeting everyone's needs, 4) SCB Thailand's TikTok, a platform that offers financial knowledge through short video clips; 5) Get Rich, a simple savings calculator for anyone who wants to plan their savings for the future and achieve their dreams; 6) SCB Blood Donation, a campaign organized by SCB to provide blood to the Thai Red Cross Blood Donation Center; and 7) SkinX, an application that lists dermatologists from many leading hospitals and clinics who can provide advice on skin problems. These booths clearly demonstrate SCB's commitment to its mission to continuously develop products to boost peoples' happiness.
SCB is pleased to invite everyone to join another historic Red Cross Fair, which will replicate the activities and atmosphere of the events traditionally held at Lumpini Park on www.redcrossfair.com.
