Bangkok Bank in strategic alliance with Pictet Group to share knowledge, experience and investment views while enhancing wealth management services for customers

Bangkok Bank President Chartsiri Sophonpanich said Bangkok Bank's strategic alliance with the Pictet Group, a Geneva-based global wealth and asset manager, will help the Bank enhance wealth management solutions for its customer base. Accordingly, the Bank has arranged with Pictet to exchange ideas and know-how that can be adapted to the Bank's wealth management services in line with customer needs.

In the most recent collaboration, Pictet introduced wealth management strategies and ideas for the asset allocation of customers, investment product development, and discretionary portfolio management. Pictet also recommended guidelines for taking care of high-net-worth customers and advised Bangkok Bank to establish teams responsible for workstreams such as Investment Solutions, Family Solutions, Frontline, and Branding & Marketing.

Mr. Chartsiri added that the experience sharing between Bangkok Bank and Pictet will help develop and enhance Bangkok Bank's wealth management capabilities, including advice for the management of customers' investment assets and portfolios. Together with Bangkok Bank Chief Investment Officer (CIO) Office's investment analysis and strategies, Bangkok Bank will be able to effectively recommend suitable investment solutions in line with customer requirements.

The collaboration also puts an emphasis on training Bangkok Bank staff and helping design financial and investment products suitable for customers' core investment portfolios. Such products offer investment in a variety of global assets, including long-term investing under thematic trends such as Bualuang Sustainable Investing Portfolio, global multi-asset products such as BCAP Global Multi-Asset Fund (BGMA) and the BCAP Private Fund, which invests in the Pictet's Private Equity Fund of Funds.
