According to Shirley Lesmana, Chief Marketing Officer, Traveloka, Baifern's appointment as the brand ambassador is a testament to Traveloka's commitment to understanding the needs of today's Gen Y and Gen Z travelers, who are passionate about exploring and seeking novel experiences. "Her love for adventure perfectly complements Traveloka's new, refreshed tagline," she adds.
Shirley also shared that Traveloka has achieved around 50 percent growth in the number of searches for transportation products, and nearly 25 percent increase in searches for accommodation products in Thailand for January and February this year, compared to the same period in 2022. These figures are in line with the Tourism Authority of Thailand's forecast of 25 million international tourists and 250 million domestic trips in 2023.
For Baifern Pimchanok, Brand Ambassador for Traveloka, living life to the fullest means always being ready to explore the world. She said: "As a travel aficionado, I am truly honored and excited about this appointment and opportunity. Travel has always been a way for me to create memories, enjoy life's experiences and immerse myself in a variety of cultures, with my family and friends. Now that the borders are open once more, I hope to inspire people to discover the world again, through Traveloka."
Traveloka will continue to deepen its leadership in Southeast Asia with a comprehensive and competitive portfolio of travel products and services on its platform, as well as create a pleasant experience for consumers on their travel journey, to fulfill their aspirations.
