Dr. Sarit Hongvilai, Orthopedic Surgeon, Bangkok International Hospital BONE X BRAIN, stated, "As the elderly population grows, we have seen a significant rise in osteoarthritis cases, particularly among women. In response, Bangkok International Hospital has introduced VELYS(TM) Robotic-Assisted Solutions (VRAS), a Generation 4 robotic knee surgery system, becoming Thailand's first hospital to implement this technology. This VELYS(TM)system eliminates the need for CT scans, reducing radiation exposure, and provides real-time feedback during surgery. It enables precise bone trimming and optimal placement of knees implants, significantly reducing complications and post-surgery side effects."

Miss Sireerat Corvanich, Head of Credit Card Marketing Division (Health and Beauty Division), at Krungthai Card Public Company Limited (KTC), added, "The health and beauty sector, especially healthcare, is experiencing remarkable growth as more Thais prioritize quality health services and are willing to invest in them. From January to September 2024, KTC credit card spending in the health category grew by 14%. In response, KTC has partnered with Bangkok Hospital (Soi Soonvijai) to offer exclusive privileges to our credit cardmembers. These include a special rate of 2,000 baht for knee pain and osteoarthritis screenings (regularly priced at 2,800 baht). Patients undergoing knee replacement surgery with the VRAS technique will also receive a complimentary Carotid Doppler Ultrasound voucher valued at 6,000 baht. This offer is valid until March 31, 2025."

Additionally, KTC Credit cardmembers enjoy a 30% discount on inpatient rooms charges, a 10% discount on medication, and 10% off on five dental procedures. For more information, https://bit.ly/40aVxQO
