The Visit Valencia Foundation has launched "Seeing you in Valencia Fills our Hearts" to invite Thais and nationalities from 22 other countries in Europe, America and Asia.

Visit Valencia will participate for the first time at the Business Networking of the 30th Thai International Travel Fair organized by Thai Travel Agents Association to meet over 400 Thai travel agents (buyers) and explain more about destination Valencia and its highlights.

Some other advertising, public relations and trade activities will also be highlighted to attract potential visitors from Thailand to visit Valencia.

Every year, some 2.3 million visitors from around the world visit Valencia's many tourist attractions, as well as enjoy 300 days of yearly sunshine plus an average of 19?C annual temperature because of its favorable geographical position.

Readers of Conde Nast Traveller voted Valencia as the Best city in Europe for "2024 Readers' Choice Awards" with a score of 92.78. This also helped confirm that Valencia is a must-visit destination.

With several airlines offering flights to Spain from Bangkok, visitors from Thailand can easily travel to Valencia. The airport in Valencia is only 15 minutes from the city center. From Madrid to Valencia is only 90 minutes by high-speed trains.

Valencia, Spain's third largest city, is some 2000 years old and has been home to Romans, Visigoths and Muslims since it was founded in 130 B.C. Other listed UNESCO World Heritage are La Lonja (The Silk Exchange), an emblematic building of Valencia and one of the most famous civil gothic monuments in Europe and Tribunal de Las Aguas (The Water Court).

Valencia is the birthplace of paella, a very popular dish throughout Spain and among foreign visitors. The city also offers the finest signature cuisine and authentic tapas.
