Mr. Brainwash, Richard Orlinski, Adam Handler, Peter Opheim, Pollyanna, Jane Kibari, and others participate in the first group exhibition at the new contemporary art gallery in the heart of Bangkok.
A new contemporary art gallery, Agni Gallery, has opened in the vibrant Lumphini district of Bangkok with the inaugural exhibition "Light Through 15 Windows." The show, spanning over 700 square meters, runs from February 1 to March 31 and features more than 40 works by 15 acclaimed international and local artists.
"Light Through 15 Windows" is a cultural dialogue, uniting works by globally renowned Western artists and Asian creators who explore the multifaceted nature of contemporary urban art. The gallery's 15 windows are both an architectural feature and a symbol: the light they emit represents art infusing the space with life. The 15 participating artists, like 15 rays of light, merge into a bright and dynamic portrait of modernity. Featured artists include Richard Orlinski,
Mr. Brainwash, Peter Opheim, Emilio Garcia, Adam Handler, Coarse, Timur Fork, Pollyanna, Tokita Misuzu, Jane Kibari, Little Aii, Pamkiids, Manzood, Sukerthing, and I.Guyy.
The centerpiece of the exhibition is a 180-meter sculpture of a Kong gorilla by acclaimed French sculptor Richard Orlinski. Other iconic works by Orlinski, including sculptures of a lion, panther, and bear, are also part of the gallery's collection and exclusively showcased in Bangkok at Agni Gallery.
The exhibition also features works by legendary street artist Mr. Brainwash, famous for his documentary film "Exit Through the Gift Shop." His provocative and bold creations leave a lasting impression on viewers.
Additionally, Agni Gallery is proud to present an exclusive collaboration with talented young Thai artists Pamkiids, Little Aii, and Jane Kibari. The collection includes a series of Polystone sculptures available for pre-order. Each sculpture represents a fusion of traditional and contemporary artistry, accompanied by an elegant wooden box with engraving and personally signed by the artists.
