Absolute Hotel Services Announces New Appointments of Senior Vice President of Operations - Asia

Wayne holds a bachelor's degree in hospitality management from Christ University. With over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, he is a highly experienced, entrepreneurial, and accomplished hotelier. Wayne started his career in 2002 with Marriott International in Dubai, UAE, where he served as the Director of Revenue Management. He later held key positions with Marriott International in Australia, including Cluster Reservations Manager in Sydney and Assistant General Manager at Rydges Esplanade Resort in Cairns.  2013 Wayne joined Australian Hotels Trust (an Accor Franchise) as the Group General Manager in Melbourne, Australia.

His outstanding leadership skills were recognised when he was awarded General Manager of the Year in 2018 for his role at the Eastin Grand Hotel Saigon, Vietnam.  Wayne continued to excel in his career, serving as the Area General Manager - Vietnam for Absolute Hotel Services from January 2020 to March 2021, where he oversaw operations in Ho Chi Minh City.

In his new role, Wayne will be responsible for performing operations related to the management of hotels, resorts, serviced residences, and senior living within Asia, ensuring effective management and upkeep of client relationships, and serving as an ambassador for the company.
