KTC Supports "Eye Health Checking Project" in Honor of His Majesty the King
Miss Charassri Srimanee (right) Director of the Office of Foundation for the Blind in Thailand under the Royal patronage of Her Majesty the Queen recently accepted a 20,000 baht donation from "KTC" or Krungthai Card Public Company Limited presented by Miss Janejit Ladpli (left), Head of Public and Corporate Affairs Division, to support the "Eye Health Checking Project" commemorating His Majesty the King's Sixth-Cycle (72nd) Birthday Anniversary. The ceremony was held at the Foundation for the Blind in Thailand, Ratchathewi district.
The "Eye Health Checking Project" was organized by the Foundation for the Blind in Thailand under the Royal Patronage of Her Majesty the Queen, in collaboration with Banphaeo Hospital in Samut Sakhon province. The project provided screenings for cataracts and glaucoma to the general public aged 55 and over, including Foundation personnel, approximately 300 people benefited from the screenings. Additionally, the project will provide cataract surgery for up to 72 individuals if needed.
