GlaxoSmithKline (Thailand) Company Limited, or GSK, is supporting the British Embassy in hosting the "Re-imagining UK Aging Care Event," focused on addressing challenges related to an aging society. The event aims to explore recommendations and solutions for enhancing elderly health, employing diverse and innovative healthcare strategies to elevate their quality of life.
Ms. Marija Krstic, General Manager, GlaxoSmithKline (Thailand) Company Limited (GSK), shared that GSK is the leader of research and development in innovative medicines and vaccines globally. As a result, GSK is committed to advocating for public awareness regarding the vital role of vaccination in disease prevention. Particularly for the elderly population, who are more vulnerable due to age-related immunity decline, GSK encourages medical consultations to enhance disease understanding and adopt suitable prevention options, thus enhancing their overall quality of life.

Within the "Re-imagining UK Aging Care Event", an academic discussion activity was organized on the topics of "What are vaccine-preventable diseases for the elderly and how are they important?" along with "Shaping the Future of Aging Care in Thailand". GSK contributed by setting up a booth covering "The Importance of Adult Immunization" with GSK medical personnel on hand to provide knowledge on promoting adult immunization and vaccine preventable diseases.
