Miss Piyasuda Kwaennonsee (Center Left), Head of Human Resources, "KTC" or Krungthai Card Public Company Limited, handed over textbook files for visually impaired children under the "Print & Prove" project. These audio files were created by over 50 executives and volunteer employees from KTC, who collaborated to publish and review textbooks sourced from various originals used by sighted children in classrooms. These resources were aimed at visually impaired students studying at the secondary school level and distributed through The Center for Educational Technology for the Blind, a foundation under the Royal Patronage of Her Majesty the Queen of Thailand. Recently, Mrs. Chanidapa Petcharak (Center right) Director of the Center for Educational Technology for the Blind, recently joined the handover at the Educational Technology Center for the Blind, Pak Kret district.

KTC Hands Over Textbook Files to Visually Impaired Children Under the "Print & Prove" Project

The original textbooks for visually impaired students' files were received by KTC from the Center for Educational Technology for the Blind. Volunteer employees from KTC assisted in converting these original textbooks into Microsoft Word files in text format and verified the accuracy of the formatting to ensure it matched the original copies before sending them to the center. These files are then imported into the "Screen Reader" program, which converts the text from the Microsoft Word files into audio format. This process enables visually impaired children to access subjects and study alongside sighted students on an equal footing.
