KBank partners with DHL Express to reduce carbon emissions from the cross-border transportation of shipping documents by using sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), being the first bank to join the GoGreen Plus project

We have implemented environmental policy that focuses on the reduction of carbon footprint in our services. The objective of DHL Express's GoGreen Plus is in alignment with KBank's goal, thus inducing us to become the first bank to support and encourage our business customers to dispatch their shipping documents through SAF solutions instead. Our customers will not be charged any additional expenses, so that all sectors can contribute to reducing global warming, an important goal that requires everyone's collaboration."

The project is aimed at reducing the overall life-cycle carbon footprint by 70-80 percent compared to the use of conventional aviation fuel, while also cutting the emissions of harmful substances, including small particles and sulfur, with the use of sustainable aviation fuel. These emissions are generated during logistics activities - the receipt and delivery of shipping documents - which are integral to the supply chain process in import-export businesses. Additionally, the effort will help drive the business sector towards achieving net zero carbon emissions in a stable and sustainable manner.
