Assistant Professor Udom Ngammuangsakul, Dean of the Faculty of Law, along with Associate Professor Dr. Paninthara Teeranon, Assistant to the President of the University of Phayao received a certificate of honor as a person who provides assistance in the field of people with disabilities and has outstanding public spirit in the year 2023. The promotion of this International day was organized by the Phayao Provincial Social Development and Human Security Office, in collaboration with the Provincial Council for Persons with Disabilities of All Types. Attended by Disabled people's organizations and related agencies of International Day of Persons with Disabilities and under the theme "Unite forces to revive and achieve sustainable development goals for people with disabilities, by people with disabilities" the event was held at Wat Sri Khom Kham, Phra Aram Luang, Mueang Phayao District, Phayao' Province.

This event invited network partners to organize and to participate in activities, including people with disabilities, caregivers of people with disabilities, the disabled family network for disabled people, Government agencies, and the private sector, numbering 550 people. Activities included: organizing exhibitions to disseminate academic works and innovations in the field of people with disabilities; Work and products of people with disabilities; Recreational activities and souvenirs for people with disabilities who attended the forum: "Combining forces as one to recover and achieve sustainable goals." and finally awarding plaques honoring outstanding individuals and organizations that support the work of disabled people for the year 2023.
