The purpose of this project is to evaluate the quality of education at the University of Phayao for the academic year 2022, using the EdPEx criteria. This is the second year in a row that the university has conducted this evaluation, with the involvement of administrators and university personnel. This initiative is in line with the university's goals of promoting development in all areas of work, as outlined by the EdPEx criteria.
On Monday, January 15th, 2024, Associate Professor Dr. Suphakorn Phongsabangpho, President of the University of Phayao, along with university administrators, welcomed the Educational Quality Assessment Committee. The committee, led by Associate Professor Usanee Khamprakob, B.Sc.Pharm., Vice President of Chiang Mai University, included Associate Professor Dr. Ratchaphon Suntivarakorn from Khon Kaen University, Assistant Professor Dr. Rajda Chaichit from Khon Kaen University, Associate Professor Dr. Athiwat Jiawiwatkul from Mahidol University, Assistant Professor Tawanchai Phoehom from Ubon Ratchathani University, and Assistant Professor Dr. Somkid Juwa, Dean of the School of Public Health at the University of Phayao.
The purpose of this meeting was to inspect the University of Phayao's evaluation and inspection system, with the goal of raising awareness among administrators and personnel about the importance of educational quality assurance. The committee's recommendations are expected to contribute to enhancing operational processes across various areas of the university, ensuring continuous quality improvement, fostering a culture of continuous learning, and facilitating the planning and analysis of performance results to create coherence and consistency throughout the process and achieve the agency's set goals.
