Banpu Public Company Limited, led by Dr. Teerachai Pornsinsirirak, Head of Digital and Innovation (the 3rd from left), signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on academics, research, and innovation with Chiang Mai University, represented by Professor Pongruk Sribanditmongkol, M.D., Ph.D., President of Chiang Mai University (the 3rd from right). The MOU signing ceremony took place at Tawan Kangwanpong conference room, Chaing Mai University and was witnessed by Mr. Jamon Jamuang, Head of Mining Business and Mr. Pitak Wuttinonchai, Vice President - Geoscience from Banpu Plc., together with Associate Professor Thongchai Fongsamootr, Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Assistant Professor Cheowchan Leelasukseree, Ph.D., Head of Mining and Petroleum Engineering Department from the Faculty of Engineering, Chaing Mai University.

Dr. Teerachai said "Banpu is well-positioned as an international versatile energy provider with a focus on "Human Empowerment". The Memorandum of Understanding between Banpu and Chiang Mai University aims to promote and support the academics, research, and innovation which will enhance human resources development including exchanging, disseminating, and sharing knowledge among each other. This cooperation will be a good starting point leading to educational & learning activities and projects that are extensively beneficial. It also promotes and creates innovations while developing capabilities to benefit organizational development as well as the country's future development."
