Thai Credit Retail Bank's Assistant Managing Director of Micro Finance Business and Lending Branch Management Group, Kamolphu Phuredithsakul acted as the Bank's representative to deliver textbooks and other learning materials, to support schoolchildren in small schools with limited budgets. The school outreach is in line with the Bank's philosophy "Everyone Matters".
TCRB's school supplies were delivered to Wat Sai School at the Bang Kho Laem District Office, Bangkok. The aid included: textbooks, sports equipment, and outdoor playground equipment designed to enhance the children intellectually, physically and emotionally. Additionally, the Bank taught the schoolchildren basic financial knowledge for upper grade students in order to cultivate good financial behavior and discipline as well as enable them to live sustainably in a more effective manner by applying better personal financial management in their daily lives. The financial literacy training is conducted by professional speakers within the Bank's Tang-To Know-How CSR program. The course is in compliance with academic financial literacy and is certified by the School of Accountancy, University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce (UTCC). TCRB's financial literacy program teaches how to "Make Money, Save Money, Increase Money" in a practical, easy-to-understand and enjoyable way.
TCRB recognises the importance of the youths as Thailand's social foundation, and encourages increased improvement in students' quality of learning in educational institutions.
