Megabangna sets forth in 2022 to delight "Kids and Family" via newest loyalty program "Mega Smile Kids" with tempting deals from its tenants!

Megabangna, in partnership with over 500 shops in its shopping centre, is launching the Mega Smile Kids programme as an extension of its Mega Smile Rewards loyalty programme aimed at raising total membership by 20 percent while driving repeat traffic for tenants.

In line with its 2022 strategy to continue to provide an inclusive lifestyle experience to all groups of mixed-generation customers, the Mega Smile Kids programme offers special promotions and privileges to families with children under the age of 12.

In a unique move, Megabangna is also transforming every square inch of space in its shopping centre, into "Your Everyday Meeting Place", where customers can enjoy a memorable experience with family and friends, while shopping. To ensure a safe environment for its staff and shoppers, Megabangna adheres strictly to Covid-19 precautionary measures.

Members of Mega Smile Rewards are eligible to apply for Mega Smile Kids membership for their children under the age of 12 from 15 January 2022. Points gained under the programme can be used to redeem benefits from participating shops as well as other partners of Megabangna throughout the year.

Sirinchat Sangsri, Vice President of Marketing, Megabangna Shopping Centre, said "Most of our regular customers are families with high purchasing power residing in Bangna and surrounding areas as well as in the eastern provinces such as Chonburi, Rayong and Chachoengsao. We launched the Mega Smile Rewards loyalty programme in May 2019 via our Megabangna application, to provide our loyal customers with special benefits and promotions. The loyalty programme has the added benefit of staying connected through CRM with our core group of customers.

"The programme currently has over 300,000 members who can accumulate points via the Megabangna app. Each receipt of at least 500 baht at any of over 900 shops in the shopping centre will be granted one point. The collected points can be exchanged for premium items, discounts and other benefits, including cash vouchers of 100 baht for every 30 points that can be used at participating shops. Members can also use the points to receive benefits and vouchers from participating petrol stations and the country's leading hotels."

For the past four years Megabangna has also been adapting itself to digital disruption and has adopted various technologies to further improve its services, to include e-valet parking for members of its loyalty program. Under development is an e-navigation service designed to assist and improve the shopping experience in the 400,000 square-metre facility.

In addition, Megabangna is focused on developing a digital marketing strategy to provide a seamless online connectivity and ensure that customers are always on their individually preferred channels. Martech (marketing technology) tools are utilized to analyze and evaluate data with reference to the preferences and needs of each group of customers. This will help to improve services and pinpoint shops and products which can cater to customer satisfaction in the best and most complete manner.

"In 2022, we are preparing to upgrade our Mega Smile Rewards programme to embrace all generations of customers. We have observed the growth of family customers, especially those who are new parents and parents of schoolchildren, whose shopping habits and lifestyle preferences are centered around their children's development and learning. We believe that building good customer relations should not be limited to parents but should also extend to their children who play a key role in the purchasing decisions of their parents," said Ms. Sirinchat.

The first phase of the Mega Smile Kids programme will cover 40 participating shops and partners offering free workshops and classes, special menus and cash vouchers, among others. There are also numerous benefits and promotions from participating child-centered shops, schools and specialized academies, restaurants and lifestyle shops.

Partners include mother and child stores such as B2S, Toys "R" Us, and Baby Hills; schools and academies such as KPN Music Academy, YAMAHA, Robot's Child, Clay Works, Hegura, I Can Read, Chefu Town, Dance Space & The Kick by Kru Ant, Shichida, Global Art, and Vocalize - Singing Academy by Kru Fasai; sports partners such as Super Sports and Fitness First; entertainment venues such as Mega Cineplex, and Blu-o, Sub Zero, and renowned F&B brands such as McDonald, IKEA (restaurant), KFC, Mikazuki, PAUL, Subway, Beard Papa's, GAGA, Vista Cafe, Dunkin', and Kamu Tea.

Mega Smile Kids members are eligible for following privileges:

  1. Welcome Pack: upon completion of registration, members will receive a gift pack which includes a backpack, a pin, a water bottle, special discounts coupons at certain shops,M-Gen Card from Mega Cineplex and an adorable set of limited collection stickers from I Found Something Good.
  2. Kids Rewards: such as discount coupons, gift vouchers and premium gifts available for exchange all year round
  3. E-Discount Coupons: large discounts at participating shops.
  4. Birthday Privileges: surprise birthday gifts which include special menus from some of the kids' favorite restaurants at Megabangna.
  5. Events and Workshops: fun activities to help children gain experience, learn skills and develop creativity provided by schools and academies at Megabangna.
