ESSO ANNOUNCES NEW CHAIRMAN AND MANAGING DIRECTOR

Esso (Thailand) Public Company Limited announces the appointment of Dr. Adisak Jangkamolkulchai as its new Chairman and Managing Director effective Feb. 4, 2020. At the same time, he also serves as Chairman and Managing Director of ExxonMobil Limited, Executive Director of Thailand Major Growth Venture as well as Lead Country Manager ofExxonMobil affiliates in Thailand.

He replaces Mr. Jeremy R. Osterstock who has relocated to Exxon Mobil Corporation's office in the United States.

Dr. Adisak received a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Technology from Chulalongkorn University, located in Bangkok, Thailand and a Master of Science in Engineering and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Tulsa, located in Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States.

He has worked for affiliates of Exxon Mobil Corporation in a number of managerial positions during his 28-year career, which has included Director and Refinery Manager of Esso (Thailand), Engineering Manager of Europe/Middle East/Asia Pacific of ExxonMobil Engineering Europe Limited. He is the first Thai who has ever assumed this announced position.
