AccorHotels around the globe organize “Solidarity Week 2018” to enhance its commitment in giving back to local communities
The day started with some deep cleaning followed by the installation of 10 new computer workstations to support the learning and development of the children's education. The day ended with a hosted lunch and some fun activities. The roof and ceiling maintenance, which is the second phrase of the project, will be completed by 25 December 2018.
"We are glad to welcome the team from Phuket Accorhotels and thank you very much for organizing such a wonderful activities for all 150 students both for kindergarten and primary school." said Teacher Phichaiyut Promsombat - Acting Director of Laem Panwa School.
"These children are the rising future of Phuket and the country, all supports given to them especially 10 computers will help them enjoy their education both school lesson and online integration. Hopefully they will be able to give back to others in the future to continue the giving circle." Mr. Phichaiyut added.
Solidarity AccorHotels encourages and supports our solidarity commitments by offering technical and financial assistance on the ground, very close to beneficiaries, territories and local communities in which our hotels are established. The program was set up in 2008 to help fight economic and social exclusion of people at risk of poverty by improving their employability or life. Although the challenge is immense, so is our determination.
