Synergy between INTERMAT ASEAN 2018 and Concrete Asia 2018

INTERMAT ASEAN and Concrete Asia return in 2018 to ensure the industry makes the most of its growth opportunities, by integrating an informative, industry-centered environment. The two trade exhibitions are co-locating for the first time, and will attract participants that represent the construction, infrastructure and concrete supply chains. Organizers expect 9,000 visitors from over 40 countries to attend, from pre-dominantly Asian countries. Jointly organized by IMPACT Exhibition Management Co., Ltd. ("IMPACT") and COMEXPOSIUM Group ("COMEXPOSIUM"), INTERMAT ASEAN and Concrete Asia will deliver over 500 exhibiting brands and companies.

"The first co-location of Concrete Asia alongside INTERMAT ASEAN makes this event one of the largest construction and concrete trade events in Asia. INTERMAT ASEAN and Concrete Asia are responses to the fast-growing construction project pipeline (comprising mega-projects from the announced to execution stage)," said Mr Loy Joon How, General Manager, IMPACT.

According to GlobalData, the combined value of mega-projects (projects with a minimum value of US$25 million) across ASEAN stands at US$2.9 trillion. In 2018-2022, the region's construction output will grow by 6.1% a year in real terms.
