"I am delighted to join these two fine resorts in this beautiful part of the world and very excited about leading the mission to make them both offer even better experiences for our local friends and discerning travellers from all over the world," he said.
Bruce began his hospitality career as an apprentice chef in 1987 and developed his expertise with international brands in Russia, the Middle East, Central Asia, and Africa.
He joined Marriott International in August 2013 as Resident Manager at the Marriott Changfeng Park Hotel in Shanghai which was ranked #1 in overall satisfaction for Marriott Asia Pacific during his tenure. He was soon promoted to general manager and transferred to the Courtyard by Marriott Pudong. During his two years in that position, the hotel exceeded profit targets, received TripAdvisor awards of excellence both years, and was recognised with silver status for environmental operations by the local government.
Prior to arriving in Hua Hin, Bruce was general manager of the Rayong Marriott Resort & Spa. During his last year there, the hotel scored 97% in Marriott Associate Engagement. Year over year the hotel increased ADR by 10% and GOP by 5%. When he left, the hotel ranked #1 on TripAdvisor and its F&B outlets occupied the top four restaurant rankings. คำค้น:
