Recently the Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases and Chula Kids’ Club recently co-hosted an event to raise awareness about the prevention of Invasive Pneumococcal Disease (IPD), an infection that can lead to bacteremia, meningitis and pneumonia particularly among children up to five years old and adults of over 50 years. More than 300 guests including medical students, healthcare professionals and the general public attended the event hosted by Associate Professor Chitsanu Pancharoen (standing 4th from left) and Associate Professor Thanyavee Puthanakit (standing 3th from left) at Mongkolnavin Conference Room, King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital.
