Photo Release: BRIA signs MoU with Rice Department

BRIA Regional Secretariat recently signed an MoU with the Rice Department for the implementation of the BRIA project in Thailand. Mr. Chanpithya Shimphalee, Director General, signed the MoU on behalf of the Rice Department whereas Mr. Matthias Bickel, Project Director, inked the MoU, representing the German International Cooperation (GIZ) on behalf of BRIA.
Witnessing the event were Guest of Honor Dr. Apichart Pongsrihadulchai, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives; Mr. Olan Pituck, Director General of the Department of Agricultural Extension; Mr. Leon Van Mullekom, Business Area Director-ASEAN Crop Protection, BASF South East Asia Pte Ltd.; Mr. Khong Mun Pew, Head, Public & Government Affairs Region Asia Pacific, Bayer (South East Asia) Pte Ltd.; Mr. Dominik Fortenbacher, GFP Coordinator, and BRIA national representatives from Indonesia, Vietnam and the Philippine.
