During Chinese New Year festive season, Chinese always make worship to ‘Tai Sui’ god or The Divination God to provide a better luck and avoid bad luck which according to ancient Chinese horoscope using Heaven Zodiac and Earth Zodiac to calculate and able to match 60 pairs or will be back to the beginning every 60 years and each of every years there will be a god who represent totally 60 gods which called ‘Da Jiang Jun’. Each god will be relay to take care of Human faith and for this year in 2014 the god is called ‘General Zhiang Ci’ who has been on duty on 1954.

This Chinese New Year wills the very first time that Thais and Chinese Ethnic Thais will have a chance to worship the original Jai Wu Tai Sui Zhang Ci Da Jiang Jun statue which Royal Garden Plaza Pattaya brought from his home town in Fujian Province, China. According to the legend, The Jau Wu Tai Sui was born in Henan Province during Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644). He has studied Confucianism since he was a child. He has abilities in poetry with his discreet personality, he always persuades people to be more diligent on their job and his courage to protect the villager from a Japanese pirates attack. For those reasons, Chinese Ethnic people worship him as a god to provide them a good fortune.

Each year, there will be a ‘bad year’ or one who was born on a Chinese constellation year which contrast with a ‘Tai Sui’ which may cause bad luck to that person. For this year a bad year is a mouse year (ones who was born on 1924, 1936, 1948, 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996, and 2008) together with Horse year, Rabbit year and Roaster year (1915, 1918, 1921, 1927, 1930, 1933, 1939, 1942, 1945, 1951, 1954, 1957, 1963, 1966, 1969, 1975, 1978, 1981, 1987, 1990, 1993, 1999, 2002, 2005, 2011). The ‘bad year’ born persons needs to worship and put their name to let the divination god to take care. The original Jai Wu Tai Sui Zhang Ci Da Jiang Jun statue will be stayed at Royal Garden Plaza Pattaya during 27 January – 2 February 2014.
