Noddy Kindergarten Registration and School Fees

Enrolling your child in an international school can be an educational experience for the parent, particularly if your child was previously educated in a government or public school environment. The kindergarten registration and school fees payment process can differ substantially from the registration process at your child’s prior school.

Thorough Assessment

It's almost essential to visit the school before enrolling your child and ensure that it's the right fit for your child and your needs. No one understands your child better than a parent, and they will often know immediately if their child will be happy and enjoy a positive learning experience after spending time touring the school and talking to the teachers and staff.  

Location

The location of the school should be relatively close. You want your child to arrive at school awake, ready and eager to learn. Too much time spent getting to school can make a child sleepy. A school too far from home also lessens the parent's involvement. We feel that this is detrimental to a child's development. Parents who are active in their child's education demonstrate their love and support every day. For a child to look out into the audience during a performance or play and see the smiling faces of their parents reassures the child. We encourage the parents to become active participants in their child’s education by choosing a school close to their home. 

Environment

Kindergarten is likely to be your child’s first extended experience away from their parents and the comfort of home. The school environment should look bright, clean, friendly and safe. It should be a place where your child can be comfortable. 

It should have a decent-sized outdoor area with playground equipment where the students can exercise and play in the sunshine.  

Teachers and Staff

The teachers and staff of every kindergarten school or class should be warm, friendly, patient, and above all, passionate about teaching. They should be able to demonstrate a long-term commitment to their chosen profession and should be actively bettering themselves as teachers every day.

At Noddy by Elizabeth, we teach the Early Years Foundation Stage education (EYFS). The EYFS was developed to help foster a child’s emotional, social, intellectual, physical and communication skills development before they entered their formal education years. 

EYFS provides key nurturing in several specific areas that prepare children in a supportive environment and encourage children to enjoy themselves as they learn and develop their needed skills. Instilling this love of learning is part of the reason our school has been so successful.
