N.K. Auto Import Co., Ltd., today announced on investing over Baht 200 million to upgrade its facilities into Thailand’s largest one-stop, innovative Mercedes Benz showroom and service centre, boasting the country’s first interactive showroom.
Under its Revolution to the New Era business strategy, N.K. Auto Import projects 2012 sales of new and pre-owned Mercedes Benz vehicles to top 700 units, an increase of 8 percent over 2011 sales. According to Mr. Pitinun Kisadatanont, Managing Director of N.K. Auto Import Co., Ltd., the new Revolution to the New Era strategy has four key components which taken together go far beyond a simple rebranding exercise.
“With these four components, namely, the new interactive showroom, the new hi-tech service centre, our novel website, and our aggressive event marketing and promotion plans for this year, N.K. Auto Import is promising to redefine our customers’ purchase and after-sales experiences and underline our status as an innovation leader,” added Mr. Pitinun.
With the new showroom on Kanchanapisek Road, covering over 5,000 square metres, starting construction in May and expected to be operational by November, N.K. Auto Import customers will discover the new experience for the first time in Thailand, the Search Engine Directory Program and the car-catwalk display with 3 D mapping technology which will efficiently present information on all Mercedes Benz models of interest to potential customers.
The new Service Center with some 2000 square metres is already under construction and 40 percent complete. It will guarantee the quality of all vehicles sold by N.K. Auto Import as well as the quality of maintenance services. Having been a Mercedes Benz dealer for more than four decades N.K. Auto Import has a deep understanding of its customers’ demands and the new service center will boast very transparent work procedures.
The revamped website will better accommodate the needs of an increasing number of visitors with modern design, user friendly, an interactive virtual showroom and the integration of new services related to the service center.
As for N.K. Auto Import’s 2012 marketing plans, the company will organise many activities to reach out to target customers including operating exhibition booths and offering special promotions at mini motor shows in leading department stores and community malls, all the time offering the most complete range of all the latest Mercedes Benz models.
Looking at 2011 business results, in spite of the negative impact of the floods, N.K. Auto Import recorded an increase of five percent over 2010, amounting to 654 units sold of which 60 percent were new imported models. The most popular models were the C Class and the E Class models. For its 2012 sales target, N.K. Auto Import is looking at over 700 units, over 10 percent up from 2011, with 60 percent of sales being new imported vehicles. N.K. Auto Import says its growing success is based on winning its customers’ trust and maintaining a vast selection of model range in its showroom. Typically the company maintains over 150 Mercedes Benz models in its showroom, clearly divided into two segments. The N.K.
