KTC Builds a Better Future with 25 Million Baht Donation to UNHCR for Refugees

Recently, Miss Sireerat Corvanich (center right), Head of Credit Card Marketing Division at Krungthai Card Public Company Limited (KTC), presented a donation of 25,513,630 baht to Miss Arunee Atchakulvisut (center left), Director of the Private Sector Partnership Promotion Department, UNHCR, at the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees on Krung Kasem Road. The funds were contributed by KTC credit cardmembers through donations via KTC FOREVER points (1,000 points equal 100 baht) and direct donations to support refugees affected by war, conflict, and humanitarian crises worldwide.

Miss Arunee Atchakulvisut emphasized the significance of donations, stating, "There are currently over 120 million refugees worldwide, the majority being women and children in urgent need of assistance. Ongoing support, such as donations through KTC credit cards, is crucial in providing comprehensive help and protection for refugees across all dimensions. On average, refugees remain in these circumstances for 17 years. Continuous contributions enable us to secure sufficient funding to save lives and sustainably build a new future for vulnerable groups."
