Saha Group collaborates with Quark Biosciences to venture into biotechnology

Recently at the Saha Group Fair, Saha Group partnered with Quark Biosciences to jointly enter the biotechnology industry, signing a memorandum of understanding (MOU) at the 28th Saha Group Fair held at BITEC Bangna on June, 27th 2024. Ms. Supamas Isarabhakdi, Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation of Thailand, presided over and served as an honorary witness at the signing ceremony Additionally, Professor Dr. Piyamitr Sritara, Chairman of the Executive Board, The National Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (BIOTEC), was also honored to join as an honorary witness at this MOU signing ceremony.

Ms. Supamas Isarabhakdi, Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation of Thailand, who stated that "As Thai society is stepping into an aging society, so having a good healthcare is essential for building a strong foundation to the society. Rapid technological change has an affect on innovation that can enhance healthcare and beauty technologies to be more efficient, precise and safe. This is considered as a new wave of the health and beauty industry.

Mr. Boonsithi Chokwatana, Chairman of SAHA Group highlighted "This MOU signing ceremony is the good start between SAHA Group and Quark Biosciences Inc., which experts in innovative medical technology from Taiwan. This collaboration is the beginning of elevating the future of health and beauty industry for Thai aging people. It aims to develop high-quality products to the market and runs a sustainable business. Moreover, it is a significant step to shape the future of Thailand's health and beauty industry.

Dr. Johnsee Lee, Chairman of Quark Biosciences, expressed enthusiasm for partnering with Saha Group, aiming to bring state-of-the-art technologies to Thailand. He pledged to utilize the MOU as a blueprint to collaborate actively with local experts and scholars in launching the best products and technologies tailored to meet local needs.
