DE and depa Head South to Surat Thani to Kick Off the Thailand Agriculture Drone Competition 2024
The Ministry of Digital Economy and Society (DE), through the Digital Economy Promotion Agency or depa, invites the public to support and cheer on participants in the Regional (Southern) Agriculture Drone Flying and Control Competition and Drone Maintenance Competition. The event aims to select the best drone pilots and top maintenance teams to compete in the historic Thailand Agriculture Drone Competition 2024. Winners will compete for the Royal Trophy of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn and a total prize pool of over 1 million baht.
The Southern Regional Competition is scheduled for Thursday, September 26, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Surat Thani Oil Palm Research Center in Surat Thani Province. In addition to cheering on over 100 teams competing in agricultural drone flying and 50 teams in drone maintenance, attendees will have the opportunity to explore the latest agricultural technologies from leading private companies, including Kao Industrial (Thailand) Co., Ltd., Easy 2018 Co., Ltd. (NAcDrone), and Yara (Thailand) Co., Ltd.
