Cigna partners with Doctor Anywhere and Pram 9 Hospital to launch a simple, convenient and private telemedicine service.

The rapid growth of digital businesses is changing how we live, and healthcare service providers are quickly adapting to these changes. Cigna Insurance Thailand, a business arm of the globally recognized health insurance firm from the US, is responding to these changes in digital healthcare by introducing telemedicine services, to allow customers to access professional healthcare advice on-demand anytime, anywhere. Cigna is introducing this service to support a better quality of life, health and well-being to people in Thailand.

As part of Cigna’s commitment to enhance the quality of life for its customers through innovation, the company has partnered with Doctor Anywhere, a video consultation platform that connects users to certified doctors, and Praram 9 Hospital, whose doctors will provide medical advice for customers using the app.  The new telemedicine service is available for use by Cigna Spectrum customers, and is designed to provide greater convenience for corporate travelers who may encounter health issues during local or overseas business trips. Using Doctor Anywhere means they can make medical claims anywhere and anytime.

Doctor Anywhere is a mobile Telemedicine application which enables users to video-call a specialist doctor anytime, anywhere, saving patients a trip to a clinic and long waits in the queue to see a doctor. Users can video-call a Thai-registered doctor for healthcare concerns, and after the consultation and diagnosis, medication is delivered to their doorstep within a few hours (this service is applicable within Bangkok city only). Doctor Anywhere is available for download on iOSTM and AndroidTM devices, and can be used on both tablets and smartphones.
