Ayla Networks and China Unicom Form Strategic Partnership to Deploy IoT Products

          Ayla Networks, a global Internet of Things (IoT) platform for manufacturers, announced that it has signed an official strategic cooperation agreement with China Unicom (HKEx: China Unicom762; NYSE: CHU), one of three major providers of telecommunications services in China, to develop solutions for smart home and other IoT markets. The two companies will leverage their respective technology, products, services and channel resources to deliver IoT innovations.

          The announcement was made at a conference in Guangzhou sponsored by China Unicom for the IoT industry. At the conference, Ayla and China Unicom are showcasing some of their ideas for future IoT joint development, including smart home, smart hotel, connected car, intelligent cold chain, artificial intelligence (AI) and other IoT solutions.

          As a leading telecommunications operator, China Unicom has been actively exploring and promoting industrial innovation in new markets being made possible by IoT innovations. With the vast global reach of its IoT platform, Ayla Networks is an ideal partner to work together with to deploy high-value IoT services.
