SAIC Roewe RX5 and Roewe eRX5 won the German IF DESIGN AWARD 2017

As the first mass-produced model using "rhythm design" language, the general design of Roewe RX5 integrates with SAIC design team's understanding of Chinese customers' aesthetic and the latest design trends to highlight the consistent "taste" and "technology" of Roewe brand. The combination of the golden sectioned western beauty and Oriental rhythm as well as the tough yet elegant outer contour design balances the hard character and urban style of SUV.
Every detail of Roewe RX5 is designed "meticulously" with 3.5mm body panel fillet radius, the largest interior "soft decoration" area, "winged grille" front face full of great three-dimensional sense, matrix-style LED headlamps, glorious peak waistline adopting the idea of Chinese calligraphy, supersized panoramic sunroof, etc., demonstrating the superb technology quality of SAIC which can be abreast with international standards and applying another powerful tool to break the long-term monopoly by the joint venture brands in market segment.
