Ayudhya Allianz C.P. is set to advance its agency channel with a clear focus on professionalism, motivating its agents with an extensive range of contests and conventions to build their sales capability and achieve the targets.
The company is confident of attaining its goal of total 25,000 new agency force and average 7,500 active agents per month to accomplish the first-year premium (FYP) target of Bt3,800 million – an increase of 55 per cent on the previous year. The company’s sales performance over the past five months confirms that the agency was Ayudhya Allianz C.P.’s most successful distribution channel, posting a 26 per cent rise in the first-year premiums to Bt 904 million. The number of active agents rose to 4,779, an increase of 36 per cent, and this was instrumental in enabling the innovative product launches and strategic training programmes to make life insurance easier to access.
Ayudhya Allianz C.P. recently announced the launch of two new life insurance packages designed to meet the needs of all target markets. Basically, most people’s attention will be on two significant factors: life protection and savings. The company has therefore devised ‘ready-made’ life insurance policies to satisfy all requirements:
My Safety Pack, provides protection for life and income and coverage for serious illness and medical expenses, while the emphsis of My Savings Pack is on savings for education, retirement and future.
Ayudhya Allianz C.P.’s agency training programme are mainly directed to the first three-month period, and will reflect the productivity of each sales agent. The company has developed its Professional Pattern of Selling (PPS) programme to monitor sales performance throughout the 10-week training period. This Allianz-owned course, which has worldwide acceptance, successfullly advanced the progress of the ‘Train-The-Trainer’ programme, which provides further sales knowledge for agency managers.
In addition to these intensive training programmes, Ayudhya Allianz C.P is offering competitive remuneration packages to stimulate the performance of its sales agents. They include ‘The 3rd Quarter One App One Prize’ that rewards agents who generate an outstanding number of premiums for a period of months; and ‘President Club # 4’ and ‘CAO Club # 4’ which take the agents with the best performance on visits to Norway and India. Agents who are successful in the Chairman Club # 4 and achieve 150 per cent of the President Club # 4 level will be invited to both Norway and Sweden.
The company has made further progress by providing valuable agency services like the e-application forms to reduce the working process and introducing the Ayudhya Allianz C.P. Phaholyothin Service Centre completed with Bt125-million budget for providing superior professional services and facilities for both sales agents and customers. The on-line examination for sales agent’s license is also located at this service centre.
