Eastin Hotel Makkasan Announces New Senior Sales Members

The Eastin Hotel Makkasan today announced three new Sales Leaders to the team. Marina Besson has joined the hotel as assistant director of sales-travel trade and MICE, Chitsanu Sukprasert as assistant director of sales-corporate and Roannayutt Oan-Oon as assistant director of catering. As assistant director of sales, Marina is responsible for international wholesale accounts as well as overseeing the local wholesale team at Eastin Hotel Makkasan Bangkok. Prior to this position, Marina worked in hospitality sales and travel agent as sales manager in Russia, CIS and Eastern Europe. “Marina has in-depth knowledge and understanding of the international travel trade segments that will serve to drive more demand and she will be a great mentor to our sales team,” said Mark Heather, group general manager of Eastin Hotels. Chitsanu a.k.a Nikki has very strong background in operations when he started his career in 1993 as a receptionist and assistant front office manager respectively in various hotels after graduated from Switzerland majoring in hotel management. His sales career started as sales manager in 1999 at The Ambassador Hotel Bangkok then as assistant director of sales at President Park Group since 2003. For his new role as assistant director of sales corporate for Eastin Hotel Makkasan, he will also handle government and embassy as well as overseeing corporate sales team. “We are fortunate to have Nikki in the team with his strong background in operations as well as serviced residences where he has established strong relationships through the years with many long staying customers from corporate companies and embassies in Bangkok” said Mark Heather. Roannayutt a.k.a Roy has been working in creative fields making everything he touched a success since day one after graduated from University of Illinois, Chicago, USA. Roy was restaurant manager at Pacific Rim Kitchen North Brook, USA where he responsible for sales, marketing and overall operations. Before moving back to Thailand he joined L&S Industry Tokyo, Japan as product manager where he created successful marketing campaigns for the products he launched. Prior to joining Eastin Hotel Makkasan as assistant director of catering, he was restaurant manager at Putahracsa Hua Hin and later as event manager at Anantara Resort Hua Hin. At Anantara he transformed all events, weddings and outside caterings to become high profiles events. “Roy has a wealth of experience in the industry and is well positioned to lead the catering sales team in soliciting new business and growth for Eastin Hotel Makkasan Bangkok,” said Mark Heather.
