Boeing to Highlight Broad Range of Commercial, Defense Productsand Services at Singapore Airshow 2008

The Boeing Company [NYSE: BA], the world’s leading aerospace company, will highlight its broad range of commercial and defense offerings during this year’s Singapore Airshow, which begins Feb. 19. "The new-look Singapore Airshow is well positioned to bring the global aerospace community together in one place,” said Boeing Senior Vice President of Communications Tom Downey. "It provides Boeing an opportunity to demonstrate our commitment to the Asia-Pacific market and to showcase the products and services that are important to our customers in the region. It also serves as an important forum to examine progress on industry-wide issues like the environment, which are important to our future.” Boeing's schedule begins at 1400 hours on Tuesday, Feb. 19, with a briefing about the company’s defense business in the Asia-Pacific region. That will be followed at 1500 hours by a briefing about the Asia-Pacific commercial aviation market. On Wednesday, Feb. 20, at 1000 hours, Boeing will brief about the advanced F-15E multi-role fighter’s capabilities, while at 1400 hours that day there will be a discussion about commercial aviation market trends in South and Southeast Asia. There will be additional briefings about Boeing’s commercial airplane family, the P-8A maritime patrol aircraft, and the company’s rotorcraft programs, which include the AH-64 Apache Longbow, the CH-47 Chinook and the V-22 Osprey. Boeing products on display during the show will include the F-15C and F/A-18 E/F Super Hornet fighter jets and the Harpoon, SLAM-ER and JDAM weapons systems. The Boeing exhibit will showcase the 787 Dreamliner; 747-8I and 777 passenger airplanes; and the F-15, F/A-18E/F, Chinook and C-17 military aircraft.
