After months of development and heavy investment, Conrad Hotels & Resorts has lifted the curtain on its brand new website. The slick and stylish ConradHotels.com boasts a smart design, improved functionality and greater accessibility.
The site, which went live early this month, marks the second phase in an ongoing programme of enhancement which aims to revolutionise the Brand’s online presence. Technology experts have transformed the site’s design, improved its readability, given greater prominence to special offers and introduced video capacity.
For customers, the redesign offers a greater sense of the contemporary Conrad Hotels & Resorts Brand. A “My Favourite Hotels” page has been introduced to provide up-to-the-minute information about the guests preferred hotels and featured packages, whilst the Weddings and Spas pages have also been enhanced to make them more appealing and more informative. In addition, Pure Conrad, the bi-monthly Conrad newsletter highlighting the most exclusive offers at Conrad Hotels & Resorts globally is now available for guests to view under the new “Latest News” page.

Within Conrad Hotels & Resorts, team members will have more flexibility in uploading content and media in addition to an improved employment page to support recruitment.
This in-depth phase of development comes after an initial programme of improvement which was completed in December 2007. This stage introduced new music to the homepage, a new navigation element, updated mastheads for Personalised Online Group pages and the expansion of the “Find a Hotel” page.
Further to the ongoing improvements, ConradHotels.com received over 3.3 million visits in 2007, up 11% on 2006, and the net revenue revealed an increase of 36%. The gross number of rooms booked through the website increased by 23% in the same period, and the site registered over 18 million page views, an increase of 20% since 2006. With the changes and improvements made during the redesign, the Brand anticipates a continued increase throughout 2008.
