Corporate customers targeted to enjoy benefits from global call coverage, cost-efficiency, and unique feature functions
Pacific Internet Thailand, a member company of Pacific Internet Ltd., the largest telco-independent Internet Communications Service Provider in the Asia Pacific region, has launched PacNet VOCAL - a new IP telephony solution targeted at business customers in Thailand. PacNet VOCAL is an enterprise-grade IP-based telephone service. This subscription-based service offers worldwide coverage with International dialing rates starting from two Baht per minute.
Mr. Prithayuth Nivasabutr, Managing Director, Pacific Internet (Thailand) Limited said, “Pacific Internet is committed to delivering real value to our customers. PacNet VOCAL will help improve communications for our Small and Medium Business (SMB) customers without expensive or complicated infrastructure deployments. The 2006 PacNet IP Index, a study commissioned by Pacific Internet to track Internet communication trends in Asia-Pacific’s SMBs, shows that customers want services that enable them to improve and extend their operations, but are concerned about the cost of these new technologies. Through PacNet VOCAL, we are able to deliver voice services across the IP network to multiple geographies in a cost-effective and rapidly scalable manner.”
PacNet VOCAL is a vital element in Pacific Internet’s strategy to be the leading provider of converged Internet communication services for SMBs throughout Asia Pacific. By adding voice capabilities to its range of connectivity, mobility and security solutions, Pacific Internet is able to deliver a unified suite of services, tailored to address SMBs’ IT pain points.
“Pacific Internet is the first regional provider to bring a business-grade service package to this market. This service will bring significant benefits to enterprises in Thailand as they pursue growth strategies,” Mr. Nivasabutr added.
PacNet VOCAL boasts a full suite of value-added services
Unlike most other VoIP services, PacNet VOCAL allows customers to make phone calls without a PC. PacNet VOCAL comes bundled with an IP phone that can be connected to the Internet from any location since the “telephone number” is embedded on the access device. Customers can choose from a range of access devices, including software phones (soft phones), IP phones and even using a normal desk telephone, connected to the Internet via an Analogue Telephone Adapter (ATA).
Calls made on the PacNet VOCAL network (PacNet VOCAL to PacNet VOCAL) are free of charge. Local calls can be made from PacNet VOCAL to fixed-line (PSTN) or mobile numbers at reduced rates, while international calls start at just two Baht per minute. PacNet Vocal’s international voice services cover over 227 countries around the world, including popular destinations such as the US, Canada, UK, France, Germany, and Asian countries like Japan and Singapore.
PacNet VOCAL also offers comprehensive Enterprise VoIP services, enabling businesses to make local and international calls via a hosted IP PABX.
With Pacific Internet’s regional footprint, Multinational Corporations (MNCs) and Thai companies looking to expand regionally will be able to enjoy local support across all seven countries in Pacific Internet’s network.
PacNet VOCAL comes in different flavors to suit different business needs
Package I - PacNet VOCAL Express, at a monthly fee of 499 Baht, includes call credit worth 499 Baht, and is suitable for very small to medium sized businesses that make international calls regularly.
