This represented a 146% increase compared to the net profit of HK$4.54 million in Q3 2000.

BERMUDA: Asia Global Crossing today reported financial results for the third quarter ended September 30 reflected treatment of IPC as a discontinued operation. The company reported $US128.9 million in Proportionate Cash Revenue, an increase of 102 per cent over $63.9 million in the third quarter of 2000.

LUEBECK: Medical and Safety Technology Group, Draegerwerk AG, reported that consolidated three-quarter sales advanced by 13.6 per cent to Euros 825.6 million (up from Euros 726.9 million). At 18 per cent, non-German sales outpaced domestic gains (up 4 per cent). Accounting for around 70 per cent, foreign business reached a new record.
