To deepen Taiwan-Thailand cooperation, the exhibition invited top-tier buyers such as CP Group, SCG Chemicals, BJC Group, Large Automotive Parts Manufacturer, ASI, Bangkok Christian Hospital and JSP Pharmaceutical Company. Buyers praised Taiwan's forward-thinking and innovative products, aligning perfectly with trends in smart and sustainable development, and expressed enthusiasm for future collaborations.
TAIWAN EXPO 2024 in Thailand not only showcased Taiwan's strengths across various industries but also highlighted its unique culinary and artisan culture while promoting Taiwan as a travel destination. For the first time, the exhibition featured TAIWAN SELECT Pavilion, which attracted numerous buyers and visitors to try Taiwanese delicacies. For many, it was their first experience with Taiwanese cuisine, and products such as cold-brewed high mountain tea, renowned for its natural aroma and lingering sweetness, received widespread acclaim. Other popular items, including pineapple cakes, mochi, popcorn, and jellies, also obtained high praise, delighting the taste buds of Thailand people.
Taiwan Culture and Creativity Pavilion added further vibrancy with interactive workshops, such as handmade lanterns activities and Taiwan Native Plant Color Workshop. These experiences were met with enthusiastic participation from visitors, successfully conveying the essence of Taiwanese culture.
In recent years, Taiwan and Thailand have maintained close exchanges with bilateral trade volume showing consistent growth. In 2023, Thailand ranked as Taiwan's 13th largest trading partner. The number of Thailand visitors to Taiwan and students studying in Taiwan has also steadily increased.
