Siam Commercial Bank (SCB) has been recognized with two prestigious awards at the Asian Management Excellence Awards 2025: Thailand Team of the Year - Financial Services and Thailand Employee Engagement of the Year - Financial Services. These accolades reaffirm the bank's commitment to fostering a strong corporate culture and driving sustainable business practices under its "Digital Bank With a Human Touch" strategy. SCB prioritizes employee engagement and sustainability, aligning with its "Live Sustainably" vision, which integrates sustainability across the organization, customers, society, and the environment.

The Bank is dedicated to initiatives that engage employees in building a sustainable future, such as Happy 8, an employee engagement project, and Whale & Friends, which focuses on environmental sustainability. The Happy 8 program fosters employee engagement and well-being through eight key aspects of happiness: Happy Body (good physical and mental health), Happy Heart (kindness and generosity), Happy Soul (a virtuous and positive mindset), Happy Brain (continuous learning and development), Happy Relax (the ability to unwind), Happy Money (effective financial management), Happy Family (a warm and stable family life), and Happy Society (love and harmony within the community and environment). This initiative helps employees maintain work-life balance, particularly amid evolving work trends post-COVID-19. Happy 8 also integrates sustainability efforts, including recycling and blood donation campaigns. Since its launch, Happy 8 has seen participation from approximately 1,000 employees per month, contributing to a remarkable improvement in employee satisfaction. The eNPS of the Operations Business Unit surged from -5.63 in 2022 to 33.04 in 2023, and further to 44 in 2024, demonstrating significant growth in engagement and satisfaction.

Another award-winning initiative, Whale & Friends, led by the Operations Business Unit, promotes environmental sustainability under the concept of "Turning Waste into Value." Employees contribute by dropping plastic bottles at designated spots, with every 10 bottles recycled into blankets and monk's robes. To date, this project has recycled 85,785 plastic bottles (equivalent to 1,715 kg) and reduced 4.6 tons of CO? emissions. This initiative aligns with SCB's commitment to achieving Net Zero by 2050 and fostering a culture of environmental responsibility.
