The ERAWAN Group Continuously Receive Prestigious Green Hotel Awards for Environmental Excellence

Courtyard by Marriott Bangkok received the prestigious 'Gold' level award, while Hop Inn Chaeng Watthana was honored with the 'Silver' level. Representing the hotels at the award ceremony were Mr. Sukit Techa-am-phaiphan, Director of Operations for Courtyard by Marriott Bangkok, and Ms. Wachareewan Uengpho, Operation Manager for Hop Inn Thailand.

Hop Inn, a leading budget hotel brand with over 70 branches across Thailand, the Philippines, and Japan, achieved a significant milestone with Hop Inn Chaeng Watthana becoming the first in its chain to receive the Silver Green Hotel certification. Furthermore, over 40 Hop Inn hotels in Thailand have met the criteria for the Sustainable Tourism Acceleration Rating (STAR), a program supported by the Tourism Authority of Thailand and various government agencies. This achievement underscores the brand's dedication to providing consistent, quality accommodation and services while prioritizing eco-friendly operations.

Courtyard by Marriott Bangkok, a mid-scale hotel in the Ratchaprasong district, continues to earn recognition for its service excellence and sustainability practices both domestically and internationally. The hotel has consistently maintained high standards, earning certifications such as the Thailand Sustainable Event Management Standard 2024 (TSEMS), Thailand MICE Venue Standard (TMVS), 5-Star Sustainable Tourism Acceleration Rating (STAR by TAT), TTG Travel Awards 2023, and a perfect 100% score from The PLEDGE on Food Waste program 2022-2023, which aims to reduce food waste and promote sustainable consumption.

Last year, another property under The Erawan Group, the Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok, also received the 'Silver' level of Green Hotel certification. This consistent recognition reflects The Erawan Group's commitment to expanding its business with a focus on international service standards and socially and environmentally responsible management. The group aims for all its hotels to meet sustainability standards, contributing to the future development of the tourism industry.
