Honda Automobile (Thailand) Co., Ltd. is reinforcing its commitment to safe driving by encouraging Honda owners whose vehicles were produced from 1998 to 2014 to check if their vehicles need airbag parts replaced by easily entering their Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) via a QR Code or at https://vinsearch.honda.co.th.

This recall is for the replacement of airbag parts caused during the production process at the company that supplied the airbags. In order to boost customers' confidence and safety when driving Honda cars, Honda is continuously placing importance on follow up and communicating through various channels with customers to have their vehicles inspected for free replacement of the affected parts. Honda is collaborating with the Department of Land Transport and the Thai Automobile Industry Association to get support for information about vehicles that qualify and contact these car owners to have their vehicles inspected. This includes an "Airbag Alert System**," an automatic warning system that alerts when vehicles that qualify for replacement register for annual car tax payments at Land Transport offices across the country or use the online payment system for annual car tax (DLT E-Service). The Airbag Alert System came into effect from January 23, 2023, onwards. For more details visit: https://www.checkairbag.com/
