Bridgestone Announces "Bridgestone E8 Commitment" toward 2030

This will serve as the axis to drive management while earning the trust of future generations, as Bridgestone accelerates transformation to realize its vision: "Toward 2050, Bridgestone continues to provide social and customer value as a sustainable solutions company."

Ever since its founding in 1931, guided by its unchanging Mission "Serving Society with Superior Quality," the Bridgestone Group has been expanding and evolving its business to meet the changing needs of society and continue supporting the mobility and lifestyles of individuals. Following its "Second Foundation" in 1988 with the merger of Bridgestone and the Firestone Tire & Rubber Company, the Group positioned 2020 as the first year of its "Third Foundation" Bridgestone 3.0, and has been advancing initiatives to realize its vision. Based on the "strong" Bridgestone that it built these past 2 years through corporate transformation (CX), the Group will further accelerate its evolution.
