Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phot Jaichansukkit, president of the Thailand Public Relations Association recently assigned Dr. Nutthaboon Pornrattanacharoen, Academic Committee for Innovation and Foreign Affairs to attend the international virtual meeting with the Global Alliance Asia-Pacific Regional Council (GAP), led by Mr. Jeffri Amin Osman, the newly elected GA chair for the Asia Pacific Region and vice president of the Institute of Public Relations Malaysia. Joining the meeting were association's committee members from 12 countries including Australia, New Zealand, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
To raise the public relations professional standards in the region and all over the world, the meeting will drive and enhance the following cooperation plans:
1. Build a stronger brand for the Asia-Pacific Association of Public Relations and Communication Networks and increase the value of friendship among the professional and academic circles through various partnership activities such as meetings and seminars both physical and virtual engagement
2. Expand the network of partners in the Asia-Pacific region by sharing and contributing academic and professional knowledge on importance topics of public interest such as education and training, health and wellbeing through journals, videos and annual events throughout 2022. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phot Jaichansukkit, president of the Thailand Public Relations Association emphasized that it is an honor to join this reputable global network. This will not only benefit and create value-added to Thailand's public relations practitioners, but also bring the profession to the international level.
