The newly refreshed and renewed Millennium Hilton Bangkok opens its doors to guests this festive season with a schedule of activities to spectacularly sendoff the challenges of 2020 and draw the spirit of revellers to the joyfulness of a great year ahead.

Guests during the holiday period will be one of the first to experience a newly invigorated hotel and benefit from the quixotic touches that conjure up the drama and romance best appreciated at the heart of the "River of Kings". As part of a comprehensive 930 million baht renovation programme, all Guest Rooms, all-day-dining restaurant and public spaces have been designed to fully complement the hotel's coveted location by the riverside and been utilising the latest hospitality innovations, whilst continuing the comfort and service standards emblematic of the Millennium Hilton Bangkok.

Located just steps away from some of the most famous historical sites within Bangkok and serving as a vital thoroughfare connecting the ancient and modern, the river, along with the vibrant colours of the riverscape around it, are the inspiration for the latest incarnation of the hotel. Masked in mystery and draped in decadence, a masquerade ball is nothing short of magical. Once held only for the highest levels of society, masquerade balls date back to Venice, Italy in the 15th century at the beginning of the Renaissance movement where art, beauty and the imagination reigned supreme. Masquerade balls quickly became popular throughout Europe, offering a place where partygoers could mingle freely with anonymity in ways strict societal etiquette would usually forbid. Experience the first Masquerade Ball by Millennium Hilton Bangkok and celebrate in a sea of masks with close friends and family or meet a mysterious stranger, and spend the night trying to work out who they could possibly be.

Start the evening by getting together with other guests for welcome drinks and canapes in the newly refurbished lobby, before sashaying over to Flow, the hotel's all-day-dining restaurant by the majestic Chao Phraya River, which now features an exclusive private dining room, brand new Cheese Library and Dessert Theatre, and an all-weather, outdoor terrace set to elevate the alfresco riverside dining experience. Indulge in the evening's sumptuous buffet of delights including foie gras and wagyu steaks prepared a la minute, and replete with the most comprehensive choice of Asian and Western favourites. Soak in the live entertainment throughout the night and watch the spectacular fireworks celebration by ICONSIAM, as part of "The Magic upon the River" countdown celebrations.

The Masquerade Ball on Thursday 31 December 2020 begins in the Lobby with cocktails and canapes from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm, followed by a Gala Dinner at Flow from 8:00 pm to 11:30 pm. The party then continues well into the early hours, featuring an array of entertainment set to light your dancing shoes on fire. The Masquerade Ball is priced at THB 7,900 nett per adult and THB 2,000 nett for children between 6 to 11 years old. Meanwhile for guests who prefer the exclusivity of a panoramic rooftop view on New Year's Eve, ThreeSixty Jazz Lounge, the hotel's crowning jewel on level 32, is offering a 7-course Set Menu for THB15,900 nett from 7:00 pm till the countdown at midnight. ThreeSixty Rooftop Bar Buffet Dinner is THB 12,900 nett from 8:00 pm till midnight. Both lounge and rooftop bar are inclusive of free flow open bar.

Millennium Hilton Bangkok invites guests to take advantage of the new Gold Line mass transit system on New Year's Eve, which conveniently connects to the hotel and enables you to avoid traffic, and any issues resulting from drinking and driving.
