CIMB THAI PCL. is authorized by the Bank of Thailand to appoint Dato’ Abdul Rahman Bin Ahmad as Director, effective from 6 October 2Bank of Thailand2Bank of Thailand onwards.
Dato’ Abdul Rahman Bin Ahmad was appointed as the Group Chief Executive Officer/Executive Director for CIMB and Chief Executive Officer/Executive Director of CIMB Bank Berhad effective June 10. This is the first time that CIMB Group Chief Executive Officer has served as a director of CIMB Thai Bank.
Dato’ Abdul Rahman Bin Ahmad has served as a Non Independent and Non Executive Chairman of Sime Darby Berhad, President & Group CEO of Permodalan Nasional Berhad, CEO of Ekuiti Nasional Berhad and CEO of Media Prima Berhad
Dato’ Abdul Rahman Bin Ahmad holds a Master in Arts (MA) (Economics) Cambridge University and a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountant England and Wales (ICAEW)
