Professional services organisation Deloitte announced today that three of the founders of Code QB, all highly regarded specialists in Consumer Identity Access Management (CIAM) services in Thailand, have joined Deloitte’s Risk Advisory practice to boost the team’s capabilities to help clients manage customer identity matters in Asia Pacific.
Code QB co-founders Pinthip Nawathamphichet (Ms), Theerasak Panyakroekkrai (Mr) and Vichan Chutitaporn (Mr), will deliver expert CIAM solutions to businesses across Southeast Asia and Asia Pacific region as part of the leading Deloitte Cyber practice , and help businesses strategise and implement best-in-class solutions to address their business needs with our award winning alliance partners.
While digital services has helped improve business performance, it has resulted in several key challenges. Business leaders now find themselves needing to pay more attention to consumers while ensuring privacy and confidentiality of consumer data. They also need to have control and visibility over the consumer polices they enforce and the consumer activities to audit.
CIAM is important for businesses today, given the continued proliferation of digital transactions. It not only answers the urgent call to provide better digital experiences for consumers. At the same time, it meets the secure and transparent expectations demanded by regulators on digital transactions. Information gathered, among other things, will allow businesses to perform more robust KYC (Know Your Customer) compliance verifications, and provide opportunities to enhance and increase brand loyalty.
Deloitte Southeast Asia Cyber Leader Mr THIO Tse Gan, said, “As organisations continue on their digital transformation journey, one key imperative is to address CIAM concerns. A well-considered CIAM strategy will not only result in the implementation of solutions that will address security and control expectations, it will also improve customers’ experiences. The CIAM expertise that team from Code QB has will complement and expand Deloitte’s cyber and digital offerings to our clients, not only in Southeast Asia but also in Asia Pacific.”
Code QB founder Ms Pinthip Nawathamphichet, said, “CIAM is integral to business operations, and the challenges in the areas of identity assurance, business priorities, scalability, cyber security and regulatory compliance can be daunting. We are proud to join Deloitte and be part of its established cyber risk practice, and look forward to creating sustainable and future-forward solutions for our clients in the region.”
Deloitte’s Cyber leader for Asia Pacific, James Nunn-Price, said: “This acquisition in consumer digital identity further strengthens our capabilities in managing cyber everywhere so society can go anywhere. This transaction builds on Deloitte’s previous Asia Pacific investments in cyber, including the teams from SecurePath, Practical Smarts, Connected Analytics, Qubit Consulting and Converging Data Australia”
