Photo Release: EXIM Thailand Holds FX Risk Management Project for SMEs to Promote the Use of FX Risk Hedging Tools by SME exporters

          Mr. Pisit Serewiwattana (fourth left), President of Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand), welcomed Dr. Vachira Arromdee (fourth right), Assistant Governor of Financial Markets Operations Group, Bank of Thailand (BOT), and guest speakers in a seminar on the FX (Foreign Exchange) Risk Management Project for SMEs held by EXIM Thailand in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry, the Office of Small and Medium Enterprise Promotion (OSMEP), BOT and the Thai Bankers' Association to furnish Thai SME exporters with knowledge on FX risk hedging tools and other relevant financial know-how. Eligible seminar participants would be granted a premium line of 3Ministry of Industry,Ministry of IndustryMinistry of IndustryMinistry of Industry baht per business for use to buy FX option contracts on a trial basis from the eight participating commercial banks so that they may be better able to mitigate FX risk associated with international trade.
