The Delegation of the European Union to Thailand and Chulalongkorn University, Faculty of Engineering, recently held a panel discussion on Achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Role of Small Businesses, to emphasise the role of the private sector in the sustainable development of Thailand. The event was organised in connection with the European Development Days held in Brussels from June 7 to 8, 2017 to share ideas and to discuss innovative solutions to development challenges.

Chulalongkorn University has introduced the Exoskeleton Wheelchair , an innovative robotic suit designed to help people with disabilities stand, walk, and move more independently. The breakthrough was developed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ronnapee Chaichaowarat from the Faculty of Engineering , aiming to improve mobility beyond traditional wheelchairs.
