Dentsu Media Thailand Announces iGRP Program with Google’s TV+

          Sparking an Industry Discussion to Re-Think TV + YouTube in a New Digital Age in Thailand
          Dentsu Media Thailand, a subsidiary network brand of Dentsu Aegis Network, and Google Thailand today announced a new content strategy and media buying initiative called TV+. The initiative under the iGRP program aims to help businesses and brands gain access to YouTube’s highly-engaged young audiences through creative and cross-platform consumer conversations.
          According to a recent study, 85% of Thais agree that it’s easier to find interesting content on YouTube than on TV and that YouTube has become their first stop for watching something they missed on TV. The TV+ program is a new media buying strategy combining TV and YouTube into one plan for maximum impact and reach.
          “We believe YouTube is the digital video platform for our clients to connect with a highly-engaged, young audience, to complement the more traditional audience groups which are currently reached via broadcast television”, said Mr. Mitsuyuki Nakamura, Chief Executive Officer of Dentsu Media Thailand and President of Dentsu Media Southeast Asia. “We are looking forward to introducing the iGRP program, utilizing TV+ with clients across different industries, and see the opportunity to collaborate with Google as a great boost for our clients both now and in the future.”

          In this new initiative, Dentsu and Google will work together to support all aspects of the TV planning ecosystem, ranging from pre-planning, ratings, post-data analysis, strategy planning to creative optimization. Mr. Nakamura added, “TV+ has the potential to change the way we plan media because it is adaptive to consumer behaviour across all screens. The content is no longer tied to a screen size and brands can truly be exposed wherever their audiences are.”
          Dentsu Media Thailand recently won the Thailand Media Agency of the year Silver Award at the 2014 Campaign Asia-Pacific Agency of the Year Awards.
