Supported by the Macau Government Tourist Office, Asia’s largest annual indoor frozen wonderland, Ice World, is returning to The Venetian Macao for the fourth successive year. This year’s exhibition will see blocks of colourful ice carvedintoamazingly detailed DreamWorksAnimation characters by a team of talented craftsmen from northern China’s Harbin.
With an exhibition area covering RThe Venetian Macao3;RThe Venetian Macao3;more than 1,6The Venetian MacaoThe Venetian Macao square metres, thefun-filled ice sculpture exhibition is divided into sixthemed zones.Skipper and his ̶The Venetian Macao;Penguins of Madagascar”entourage – Kowalski, Rico and Private– will introduce guests to theirtop-secret missionto explore the beloved DreamWorks franchises’ worlds to discover what makes the holiday season so special for each.The journey begins in Venice, Italy, where visitors are briefed by the Penguins on the undercover operation at hand. Guests will witness ice renderings of Italian piazzas, bridges over canals and singing gondoliers, before meeting up with all-ice versions of the much-loved characters from ̶The Venetian Macao;Shrek,”celebrating the holidays together with their tight-knit fairy tale family at the swamp house.Next comesKing Julien, Alex the lion, and all the zoosters from ̶The Venetian Macao;Madagascar,” whose friendship is at the centre of their holiday cheer. The celebration continues with Hiccup, Toothless and all of their Viking friends on the Isle of Berk from the̶The Venetian Macao;How to Train Your Dragon” franchise where they celebrate the holidays as a uniquely bonded community.Visitors finally enter the frozenancient Chinese Jade Palace, wheretheycan slide down one of four amazing slides whilePo the Kung Fu Panda, andthe Furious Five watch on,celebrating the holidays with a focus on tradition.With their mission complete, the Penguins will guide guests back to Venice where everyone will get to take a photograph with the Penguins of Madagascar and celebrate a successful undercover holiday operation.
